@BowTiedBull Slight bias because of your childhood perhaps? (Armchair psychologist over here 🤡)
You want to model Bernard Arnault’s family (LVMH), not Elon’s.
High expectations + high support yields the best results.
The grandkids will be fucked though 🙃
@BowTiedOx This girl on Shark Tank had a ridiculous business (Face Yoga). Eventually we learn she owns another business, a successful one, that deals with old people’s smell. Could be an avenue of research if her product has merit.

@zootweetsthat@BowTiedBull Also I remember something about requiring a server and at least 2 employees if you wanted to set up your business there. Might have changed, been out of the loop for a while now
@zootweetsthat@BowTiedBull Best fish I’ve ever had was there. For short business stays I recommend the hotel The Vine in Funchal. Location is too convenient, rooms are ok even if it might not age too well long term

It’s even worse in tier 1 cities where rents can be as high as 50% for the median/average salary. Owning your primary residence is a must at this point.
Seems like max pain: 1) buy a used car - 30-40% premium, 2) drive to grocery store gas is up 40 cents since you left the house, 3) Beef is up 50% so you decide to just get chicken, 4) drive back gas up another 10c and 5) go into home and see 20% increase to rent.
How much more?
Bitcoin—being a neutral money system—will be both savior to the oppressed, and menace to the oppressor.
Savior to the trucker convoy, menace to Trudeau.
Savior to Russian people, menace to NATO.
Savior to Ukrainian people, menace to Russia.

Saying something is liquid or illiquid as an asset class is an overgeneralization.
Liquidity is *temporary* and *directional*
Meaning, it may not always be there. And. There may be a ton of liquidity if you're selling when everyone's buying, or buying when everyone's selling.
