@BowTiedOx Is "cardio between sets" a thing?
I once tried this:
20 to 30 secs of moderate intensity stationary bike between most sets on a pull day
Before doing the pulls, I'll pause a few secs though to catch breath and compose myself for the lifting
Felt productive.
Forgot since.

How to ethically get sales from people who told you:
"Sorry I'm not interested in this offer
If u don't mind, could u please leave?"
In email marketing, u can get people to politely decline your offer without unsubscribing using mute links
But how to make money from them?
🧵
1/ STAND UP, WALK OUT
Choose a huge venue (commencement speeches and motivational seminars are ideal)
Sit front and center
**Wait until the crowd bends to his words**
When that happens, you’ll sense an uncomfortable quiet and focus from those around you

Will take years to finish them all, but should give you a better sense of what copy should look like than any other copywriting guide that's available

I retired from copywriting twoish years ago. No more client work. No more client hunting. No more launches. No stage speaking. Nada.
I lift, read, flaneur, write, travel, consult my Good Word subscribers.
My masterclass:
@BowedThaiCat@BowTiedSalesGuy@ChadMarketing_ I am writing copy for clients (sales pages, emails), but Im no expert
If you want to learn it, then I can't insist enough @FindJimClair
He doesn't teach it directly
But his articles & tweets will show the reality of the field
And his book recs!
My best writing tool.
Reading copy to clients. Why?
I get instant feedback on concept, structure, and tone.
One client said, "You have not lived unless you have heard one of D'Anna's dramatic readings."
100 likes and RTs and I'll post one of my best dramatic readings.
@BowTiedSalesGuy I see, but you're on this sales call...
That tells me you have a pain that's bothering you more than the frustration of being on this call...
Can I hear it?
@BowTiedArthur Usually it could mean weak glutes too
Build up to be able to do at least 50 bodyweight squats a day (not in single set, just sets of 10 is fine)
And prioritize hyperextensions if you want to specifically address the lowback pain
But I think you need to address overall weakness
@BowTiedArthur Neither
You need to build a strong posterior chain instead
That means strength training to build muscles that fight pain by fighting gravity
If you do that you can work on your laptop 14 hours a day just lying on your bed, and still be painfree as your muscles've got your back
35 isn't old
I know 60 yo men who can do 100 squats with extra weight equal to their bodyweight
I myself did 135 air squats yesterday, in three sets
And i started doing every other day squats only two months ago
