@bostonherald It wasn’t a “brawl”. It was a one sided assault. No excuse for this bad reporting, it’s all on video. The state of journalism is really poor.
@Tonysmarkettips It was an affair Tony……you really want the league to investigate extramarital affairs? You’ll have 1/8 the league under investigation? Star players? Coaches, owners and maybe even trainers….they do not want to cross that line into personal lives.
@Tonysmarkettips IMO this was about an affair. There is the dynamic larger than Russini about media sourcing. Ron Borges and Ben Volin going with messages that were pranks by Stoolies and running with those as sources. Coaches, players, agents and FOF are all used as sources to get an agenda out.

@Tonysmarkettips If you really followed things in NE…..Bill did himself no favors his last three years. Rigid, arrogant, and a host of bad decisions. Bill nudged himself out…..stop it with the conspiracy theories. Not a good look for you. Not to mention they went with Mayo.
@Tonysmarkettips Colts - Pats game in Germany that Bill was gone. That game was Nov 12. He probably got that from Kraft or sources close to Kraft. That was the final straw. You also had leaks from Friends of Bill and Kraft about Mayo and Mac Jones or other disagreements within the organization
@Tonysmarkettips I’d say doubtful for that one. There was already a rift between the two sides. Andrew Callahan did some great work at the end of those seasons chronicling the chaos inside the organization by getting the info from numerous sources. Tom Curran wrote that week right after the
