🇸🇩🇦🇪 NEW: RSF Leadership’s Family Holds $24 Million Property Portfolio in Dubai, Report Finds

The Sentry, a financial investigation unit focused on war crimes and atrocities, has revealed that a network of family members, sanctioned individuals, and entities linked to the leadership of Sudan’s Rapid Support Forces holds a $24 million real estate portfolio in Dubai, UAE, comprising more than 20 properties, including luxury villas clustered in the same gated community near Dubai’s Meydan racecourse.

The RSF is commanded by Mohammad Hamdan Dagalo, known as Hemedti, and his two brothers Abdelrahim and Algoney — all three sanctioned by the U.S. or EU. Their portfolio includes:

▪️ Properties formerly owned directly by Hemedti, later transferred to Prodigious Real Estate — a UAE-registered company whose sole owner was sanctioned by the U.S. in January 2025 for supplying money and military equipment to the RSF

▪️ Luxury villas rented by Algoney and apparent Dagalo family relatives in the same gated community

▪️ A $13 million Dubai property portfolio belonging to Taha Osman Ahmed Elhussein, a sanctioned RSF advisor and former presidential office director under Omar al-Bashir, described by the U.S. Treasury as managing the RSF’s relationships with regional actors to advance its war effort

▪️ An $850,000 plot near Dubai’s Trump International Golf Club purchased by Hemedti’s wife

▪️ A $700,000 apartment in the Burj Khalifa owned by a sanctioned RSF financial adviser

The report marks the Sentry’s fourth investigation revealing ties between the Dagalo family, the RSF, and the UAE — which has repeatedly denied supporting the genocidal RSF despite mounting evidence of weapons transfers, mercenary recruitment, and now the provision of a financial safe haven for its leadership.

Previous Sentry investigations revealed RSF front companies operating out of Dubai, an Emirati businessman supplying Colombian mercenaries to train the RSF, and Prodigious’s role in managing RSF leadership property.

The report calls on U.S., EU, and UK authorities to formally sanction Prodigious and urges the Financial Action Task Force to reassess the UAE’s compliance record on money laundering — including whether it should be returned to the grey list.
