Of course! While they try to bring them down, those of us who genuinely care about the message they’re trying to spread will do everything we can to lift them up. People can be so unnecessarily mean, constantly projecting their own insecurities onto others without knowing their origin story.
Why are the Black members of Soulidified constantly targeted, even in their own YouTube comments? They’ve been body-shamed, called desperate, labeled “visual holes,” subjected to ageism, and hit with just about every insult in the book. One loser even went as far as whitewashing a photo of the members just to make their racism clear. This is not okay in any way, shape, or form.
Soulidified has a bigger message behind them. They’ve called themselves disruptors, and that comes with challenging certain norms and breaking barriers. But there comes a point where the constant targeting and negativity can take a toll and it can potentially affect the group internally, too.
POC members in groups should not have to work twice as hard just to receive the same recognition and respect.
You don’t have to like every member. You don’t even have to like the group. But you do have to remember that these are human beings first and artists second.
Anyway, go stream “Man Ain’t Me” because, “it’s clear to see” that some of y’all need to focus less on tearing them apart and more on appreciating what they’re actually here to do: which is make music! Link ⬇️

@JayvonShon How do we make this happen?! Y'all had me listening to their “Mistletoe” Christmas cover today on REPEAT (no pun intended lol) and it's not even Christmas yet. We need a Christmas EP this time if possible 😁.
We’re also currently n. 25 in hyped videos on YouTube which is crazy!!! Hype points reset today so let’s continue to hype the vid so more people can discover the song! S/O To all the support so far 🙏🏽 It’s been amazing ♥️
Exactly‼️‼️‼️ If you can’t have a “bias” without tearing down the other members, then this simply isn’t the group for you! Personally, I can’t even claim to have a bias in a group I dislike because you have to actually like what you see from the group as a whole before picking a favorite member. I genuinely don’t understand the logic at all. At this point, it’s just straight-up evil!
General streaming tip for anyone streaming Soulidified’s new single “Man ain’t me” stream from top to bottom of their discography to make your streams count more times! Do not loop repeatedly.
