@slr_magazine@OfficialOpeth@KatatoniaBand Godhead’s Lament was the first Opeth song to grab hold of me and not let go back in the day. I got goosebumps when I read that it is part of the setlist for this tour. 🖤

@aai_swe@Willowtip Guys, it’s beautiful, it’s brilliant, it’s relevant. It’s difficult to pick a favorite part, but Robert’s vocals at song’s end give me chills every time. Incredibly emotional and powerful.

THIS ALBUM IS A TRUE MASTERPIECE
•••
In this magnificent album, which is the band's 14th studio album and also the band's first fully concept album, all instruments are played masterfully and Åkerfeldt is a giant on vocals. The album, where the band shows its ability to surprise the listener as always, has an aggressive sound in general, but it contains so many different tunes that sometimes you will be surprised that you are listening to Opeth at that moment. As 2024 ends, we can easily say that this album is the best progressive metal album of the year | Opeth - The Last Will and Testament, 2024 | Personnel: Mikael Åkerfeldt, Fredrik Åkesson, Martin Mendez, Waltteri Vayrynen, Joakim Svalberg w/Ian Anderson, Mirjam Åkerfeldt, Joey Tempest
