The UGC-INFLIBNET-sponsored one-day User Awareness Programme on “IRINS and INFLIBNET Services for Scholarly Communities” was successfully held on 14th October 2025 at NIT Rourkela, jointly organized by the Information and Library Network (INFLIBNET) Centre, Gandhinagar, and the Biju Patnaik Central Library (@BPCL_NITR). The programme aimed to enhance awareness among researchers, academicians, and library professionals about IRINS, VIDWAN, Shodh-Chakra, and ONOS services.

The inaugural session was graced by Prof. Swadesh Kumar Pratihar {Dean (SRICCE), NITR} as Chief Guest, and Prof. Rohan Dhiman (Registrar, NITR) as Guest of Honour, along with Prof. Durga Prasad Mohapatra (Chairman, BPCL), highlighting the role of research visibility. Dr. Dibya Kishor Pradhan, Deputy Librarian (Convenor), and Ms. Puspita Mishra, HOC, BPCL (Co-Convenor), coordinated the event. 96 participants from various institutions across India participated in the event and attended the expert sessions by Mr. Dinesh Ranjan Pradhan and Mr. Pallab Pradhan from INFLIBNET Centre, and Dr. Dibya Kishor Pradhan from NIT Rourkela, covering key topics on enhancing research visibility and collaboration.

The sessions covered the following key topics:
