Yesterday, we had an attempted "Grandparent Scam" against an 88 year old resident. Luckily, she didn't divulge any financial information but the caller was a big stupid jerk on the phone.

A Burlington Police Officer was struck by this vehicle on Beacon Street in front of Beacon Village today a little after 10 a.m.
The officer was transported to the hospital. Fortunately, there were no severe injuries.
Just a friendly reminder, when you are out cleaning up your driveway take a few minutes to clear around the fire hydrant. We recommend three feet around the entire hydrant.
