There is now video of Mitch McConnell being taken out of his home and put into an ambulance on a stretcher.
Maybe alive on the stretcher. Maybe dead on the stretcher.
There's a nursing home just a couple blocks from our house, and a major hospital just a few more blocks away.
This isn't the frantic urgency of profesionals transporting a critically ill patient to the ER.
This is the slow solemnity of a body being taken to the morgue.
I don’t think you guys realize just how fucking devastating this is.
That site was a literal historical archive. It held comics from DECADES ago which are out of print. This is HUGE, and we have no answers as to why it’s gone.
The republican party is pretending Mitch McConnell isn’t dead in order to prevent a special election. Even in death, he’s an obstructionist piece of shit.
Will be calling CNN today to ask if @ScottJenningsKY has quit his job after becoming a global laughingstock with his imaginary "20 minute call" to Mitch McConnell.
He was found dead. Never resuscitated. Somebody pulled some strings to have him transported to the hospital via ambulance. Maybe they hooked him up to some artificial life support to keep his corpse “alive” for long enough to avoid a special election?
That’s the best I got because the video looks like they are transporting a dead body. No urgency here and the 911 call was a reported cardiac arrest…
Having now seen the video, this is tough to reconcile.
They were moving *VERY* slowly to that ambulance.
If a patient had CPR and stabilized enough to justify a slow pace, they wouldn’t also be in the hospital for 4 weeks.
If he was stable, he’d have put out a statement weeks ago…
If he wasn’t stable… why was this so slow?
