Blackpool Palatine are pleased to announce that one of our members, Michael Loomes, has been awarded an MBE in the Queens Honours List. This was awarded for Michael's valuable work with Scouting, particularly as founder and Curator of The Story of Scouting Museum.
Palatine Club members Diane and Angela joined the Fleetwood Beach Wheelchair charity on their sponsored walk from Starr Gate to Bispham. Reece wheeled all the seven miles in his wheelchair. Over £700 was raised with more coming in. A good time was had by all.

Blackpool Palatine Rotary have made a generous donation to help with the purchase of oxygen concentrators in Bengaluru (formerly Bangalore) where the situation is dire with severe shortage of oxygen for sick patients.
