We are exploring the local wildlife in our outdoor spaces. This has led onto a special interest in birds as we made our very own bird feeders and hung up some bird houses too.

The Orange Group got messy this week as we became “rainbow hunters” 🌈 We read ‘How to Catch a Rainbow’ and explored the outdoors for different items - matching colours and discussing size and quantity. (1/3)

Our imaginative play led onto our very own Pizza Parlour. We set up a station and enjoyed lots of role play too. Finally, we set off on a trip to ASDA to pick a pizza of our own and sat with down with a slice at snack time... yummy! 🍕

Wow what a day!! We had so much fun at our shorts and shades party today celebrating our time at nursery! Lots of fun on the bouncy castle, getting our face painted, hook the duck and much more! Thank you for all the families that came along to celebrate with us! 🎉🎉 🩳 🕶️

Today Emily used the back to nature kit when we were at Gartmon Dam paddle boarding. She told us where to put the shelter to help keep our items dry. Then when it started raining it was time to sit under our cover we made and have our lunch 😀.
