It is 4 days to what might be our last chess and scrabble tournament in Warri, Delta state. The journey is not for the faint hearted and I must commend those who keep doing these events steadily.

Selecting the tiles and arranging them like you are picking beans ahead of the scrabble tournament..lol. If you are a scrabble coach, there might be days when all your scrabble tiles will be scattered like this: fret not... just know we have 12 Es, 9 As, 2 blanks, 1Z and 1Q.

This parent called to register her kids for the coming scrabble competition, then she challenged me to a game when next we meet. She says she was a national Scrabble player back in 0002/03. People of God! Do I run away because it feels like a parent is trying disgrace a teacher?

Wanted to check If I still know how to checkmate after about years of leaving active playing for coaching kids. Guys, they beat me ehn!!😭. It was a blood bath. 2 wins, 2 draws and 3 losses. Each loss felt like a blow on the jaw.
Good news is that I still got best female prize😅

This is so emotional for me, Our very first inter-school tournament 10 years ago.🙂
Where did all the years go? It still feels like yesterday. I am grateful to God for this growth.
16 more days for our next chess and scrabble tournament to mark our 10years anniversary!!
