City bidding £120mil for a player Newcastle had to sell to comply with FFP while still having not had a single punishment for 115 charges. On the day Everton are punished yet again for one overpayment that only occurred because of the War in Ukraine. Football has become a farce
On April 6, 2022, Everton lost 3-2 to Burnley. By the end of that month, they were five points clear of both Everton and Leeds. They didn't win any of their final four matches, and then they sued Everton for causing them to get relegated.
Everton overspend by £35m - 8 points and effective £45m fine (Burnley + loss of merit payments)
Chelsea Breach 74 rules - £10m fine
Sky 6 join a Super League - £3.5m fine
The PL are having a laugh. Everton are to pay £40m to Burnley because of PSR breaches in 21/22? Burnley were relegated because they were shit not because of anything Everton did. How about getting the City case settled before we hear anymore about PSR at other clubs?
@jackoefc27 Absolutely has to be number one priority. He fucked us this year with cup team selections. How do premier league players need resting in September. Incredible.
@F0reverEvert0n@rawedgespassion I'll tell you now that Barry does not have the ability or attitude to succeed in the premier league. Horrendous signing and needs to be moved on this summer. The rest have very good potential.
@Tony_Scott11@JezClein If we spent our budget on players we actually needed/areas we were desperate to strengthen then that's plenty to progress? The priority areas were both full backs, striker and winger. We only achieved one of them in Grealish on (a very expensive) loan The rest has been wasted.
@Paddy_Boyland@bluekippercom@TheAthleticFC His best position is full back. And Everton played their best football is when he was there. If he'd have positioned himself for that I think he makes the squad.
