I’m thrilled to share Emergent Mind’s new AI research assistant, a tool that makes it incredibly easy to learn about new computer science research.
You can search for papers, topics, authors, or questions, and it will then find the most relevant computer science papers on arXiv and synthesize an answer to bring you up to speed.
Unlike other tools, Emergent Mind is hyper-focused on computer science research so it won’t ever include research from other fields. It factors in citations and social media metrics to identify relevant papers, it always includes references so you know where the answers came from, it's always up to date with the latest research on arXiv, and it encourages exploration using automatically generated follow-up questions and embedded topic links.
I recorded a 5-minute demo video covering all of these features and more:
@youraimarketer It's good for research where lots of ideas interconnect, can be used for anything but especially good for students, teachers, journalist, screen writers, world builders, analysts, etc...
@mhmazur thanks! linking can be explicit or implicit with AI, what gets linked depends on model. Currently defaults to Claude, but can use nearly any model. And definitely lets catch up soon 🙏
Think Machine is a new take on mind maps and networked notes
It's perfect for understanding ideas inside and out
