I sang along to a popular worship song this week which referred to ‘me, myself and I’ twenty eight times - but mentioned God just twice. I’m challenging myself on this as a songwriter, as much as anyone else - but I’m not sure that’s a helpful ratio?! 😉
The scripture says what God has blessed no one can curse. The blessing on you is more powerful than any betrayal, than any negative word spoken over you, than how you were raised, than people trying to discredit you.
God chose you because He knew you could handle it. You have the courage, strength, anointing, and favor. You’re not weak or lacking. You are full of ‘can do’ power. You didn’t come this far to give up. The people that see dreams come to pass are the people that stay committed.
There’s nothing more powerful than your faith. When you believe, when you expect things to change, when you know what God started He will finish, when you live with expectancy, that’s what activates His power.
