The Bears’ Board of Directors voted Thursday to advance the stadium development in Hammond, Indiana, with the exact to be selected. This is this first time that the Bears’ board has voted on any stadium site.

As one source said, “There is more work to do but barring anything very strange, it’s a done deal.”

Iowa softball took some bumps and bruises in Stacy May-Johnson's first season, but a .500 campaign for this program wasn't the worst thing in the world.

Iowa's season-opener against Northern Illinois is set for Sept. 5. That's the latest date for a Hawkeye season-opener in 11 years.

It's time to flip the dial back to 2015, where Iowa began its magical season against Illinois State.

Believe it or not, Iowa men's basketball has a connection to the 2026 NBA Finals.

The late John Johnson, the father of Spurs head coach Mitch Johnson, starred on Iowa's legendary 1970 team.

Iowa is in the process of installing a new floor at Carver-Hawkeye Arena for the 2026-27 basketball seasons.

It sounds like the new floor will be similar to the old one, but the Hawkeyes need to find a way to mesh the past with the present:
