@Gracie_Raw If you are not familiar with the word 'euphemisms', I suggest you look it up in the dictionary. It is blatantly obvious that when Jason Kessler talks about "Jewish ownership of the media" and you talk about Allen's "PR machine", you are discussing precisely the same thing.

@Gracie_Raw Everybody thinks fire is hot and water is wet. Not everybody believes there is a Jewish conspiracy to control the media... or, to use the euphemisms you apparently prefer, that Woody Allen is part of a vaguely defined 'crowd' which uses a "PR machine" to control the media

@Gracie_Raw My point was that Farrow has been saying this stuff for decades, and the media (which Allen and his 'court' supposedly control) never seem to tire of it.

@Gracie_Raw Mea culpa, this stuff obviously exists. But it's clearly not comparable to the abuse leveled at Allen. Another popular trope involves the parties people are planning to throw on the day Allen dies (though perhaps you'll inform me that Cliff Richard is also the target of these).

@Gracie_Raw And as I pointed out, people simply don't say things like this about Cliff Richard, not even in the UK. I couldn't find a single reference on Twitter to anyone, from any country, boasting about how they had always found Richard 'creepy'.

@Gracie_Raw The larger point is that the campaign against Allen is deeply rooted in antisemitism. One of the comments most frequently encountered on social media is from people boasting that they have 'always' found Allen a bit 'creepy'. Is it really not clear what is being said here?

@Gracie_Raw And yet decades later, Farrow manages to get HBO to make a four-hour documentary on the case which presents only her take on the situation. Imagine what she might have achieved if she'd had a PR machine!

@Gracie_Raw Farrow's lawyer was indeed Alan Dershowitz, one of the most powerful lawyers in America. There is no mention of this in the documentary, although we are continually reminded that Allan had "powerful" lawyers (the implication being that Mia Farrow didn't).
