Uplands GC's short, par-70 layout took a beating at the PGA Tour Americas Digital Commerce Group Open in Victoria. Canadian Etienne Papineau closed with a 61 Sunday to win at 25-under. There was a 58 on Saturday and a 60 on Sunday. It took a score of 16-under to crack the top 20

Further clarification on GolfBC sale. Sandpiper Group has bought the GolfBC brand as well as Gallagher's Canyon, Okanagan GC & Nicklaus North. GolfBC's present management team will continue to operate & manage those courses. Olympic View & Mayfair Lakes are not part of deal.
