@SethJacob You can trace it directly. Obviously giger wasnt involved in these dune movies, but there's still a bunch of Giger concept art for Giedi prime floating around. Given that Denis is a big enough fan of Scott to make a blade runner sequel it's a no brainer he'd use giger's style

I have mixed feelings on pop-art 'appropriating' comic book images, but i find it weird that so many nerds who complain about this are okay with marvel putting a direct crib of an Esad Ribic panel in Thor, making millions, and paying him a pittance

Weird to watch a trailer and think 'bad lettering'. It just looks wrong to me to use a seriff 'I' in every word. Seriff 'I' is typically reserved for variations of personal prounouns, 'I, I'm' etc. Other usages gets capital, sans seriff 'I', since comics are usually all caps.
