@kczaban_ If someone really wants to play someone, and they get that opportunity? Who am I to say no? I'd rather someone who's passionate about a role get it over someone who fits the bill but has no interest in it.
@flyshyva A lot of Sonic fans think the brand is their own, and will judge you for not taking their stance. Ignore them. Look forward to the future and have faith! Be the kind of Sonic fan you want to see
@TChalla_1966 For what? His trilogy may be flawed, but each one of those films delivered great moments and had joyful acting. I'm glad they happened, and I can't wait to start the next chapter with BND. Walk before you run.
@Shamaboy11 I would cut episode 1 slack given that Dimps thought they were making a quick, throwback themed, mobile game. Then Sega decided that it's actually supposed to be a sequel to Sonic 3. I'd like to think if it was conceptualised from the start as Sonic 4, it would have been better.
@irissocewl - very "Sonicy". Also, those platforming "challenges" wre pretty brainless and an eyesore. However, it was nice just to have a Sonic game that is essentially a large atmospheric sandbox to just run around in and feel like Sonic.
@irissocewl I wouldn't say unengaging, given that I thought the backstory of the ancients was genuinely good stuff, and as for the gameplay I have sank an embarrassing amount of hours into it. Visually I would say unengaging is accurate tho; I don't think plain fields, rocks and deserts are-
