The best evidence that @NYCMayor Mamdani has not held a job is the fact that he is sitting on the wrong side of the desk.
And listen to his words. On a day when we, and in particular, our leaders should be celebrating the 250 years of our nation’s history, he attacks us and what makes our country great.
Mamdani and the Democratic Socialists are grave threats to our present and our future.
.@ZohranKMamdani, on America’s 250th birthday you chose to attack the greatest nation in human history instead of celebrating it.
America has created more prosperity, lifted more people out of poverty, produced more innovation, and expanded more freedom than any society the world has ever known. That wasn’t an accident. It was built on liberty, private property, entrepreneurship, and the invisible hand of free markets, not socialism.
If you believe socialism is the answer, perhaps you should spend time living under a system built on those ideas and then tell us how it compares to the American Dream.
America isn’t perfect, but millions of people, including immigrants like my family, came here because this nation offers opportunities found nowhere else.
America will never embrace your socialist or communist ideology. Too many Americans have given their lives defending freedom, preserving our Constitution, and protecting the ideals that make this country exceptional. Their sacrifice was not made so we could abandon the principles they fought to preserve. Not on my watch, and not on the watch of millions of freedom-loving Americans.
Happy 250th Birthday, America. 🇺🇸
Socislism looks at facts, and call them "unfair" someone is better looking, stronger, or smarter than others.
"Unfair" they cry.
So they want govt govt to equalize them. You cant make weak people strong or dumb people smart, but you can punish strength and smarts. "Fair".
These are new citizens of our great country, America. So @ZohranKMamdani, is this the message you send to anyone choosing to come to America?
Your message of hatred towards this country on the eve of our 250th anniversary of our founding is replete with hate, vitriol, ignorance, and dismissal of all that our ancestors have fought for to make this a more perfect union.
You owe America--and these new Americans who surround you--a profound apology. You are a disgrace. Will any Democrats who love America speak up? @nypost@nytimes@NYDailyNews@GovKathyHochul@SenSchumer
O say can you see, by the dawn's early light,
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming,
Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming?
And the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there;
O say does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave? 🇺🇸
People that "identify" as "queer" have significantly tarnished the reputation of normal gay people because they latched themselves on to LBG. Normal gay people have nothing to do with queer people. We are not communists. We want to protect women and children. We are patriots.
When I was a child, my grandfather would sometimes solemnly intone at the dinner table: "The purpose of socialism is to organize scarcity."
As a kid it sort-of didn't register in my brain as meaning anything beyond "socialism bad", but eventually when I was 12 or something, I did ask what he meant by those specific words.
And he said: socialists establish control of valuable resources and then create an artificial scarcity of these resources, so that they can then use them as a tool of control by deciding who gets and doesn't get those resources.
And I thought that was wrong. I mean, are socialists misguided? Sure. But to claim that they deliberately create scarcity as a means of political control? That seemed far-fetched.
But, of course, he was entirely correct.
As they explained to us REPEATEDLY:
1) We shall conquer you through the womb of our women;
2) We shall conquer you via hijrah (Arabic word for migration);
3) We shall conquer you by using your miserable freedoms against you.
This Sharia-compliant judge is using the third point.
If an active-duty servicemember had protested against Joe Biden in uniform, liberals would have called for him to be court-martialed and sent to the brig.
And they would have been correct.
This is one of those things you simply don’t do. Especially if you’re an officer. There’s a reason—many reasons, actually—why this is explicitly forbidden under military regulations:
> It undermines the chain of command (of which, like it or not, Donald Trump is now the duly sworn commander in chief, as was Joe Biden during his time in office).
> It erodes good order and discipline among troops, which is critical on the battlefield and in garrison alike.
> It destroys cohesion within a unit, whose success is dependent on troops from across the country, of all cultural backgrounds and political persuasions, uniting together to accomplish a mission.
> It expropriates the credibility of the uniform—a credibility earned in war by millions of veterans who came before you, some of whom are now wearing that uniform in their final resting place on this earth—for your own personal political agenda. It’s “main character syndrome” of the highest order, which is the antithesis of military service and military leadership.
You certainly don’t have to like or support the president, just as you’re not required to personally like anyone else in your chain of command (provided that you follow all legal orders, of course). You don’t forfeit your rights as a citizen when you join the military, and you’re entitled to participate in the democratic process as you see fit. Within reason, you can even join political protests.
You just don’t get to do it in uniform, no matter how righteous you believe your cause may be.
And shame on anyone who would undermine the discipline of our military by encouraging servicemembers to do so.
🇺🇸Trump declares National Scallops Day, announcing he is opening the Northern Edge of Georges Bank to scallop fishing—an area long closed off under Obama and Biden.
He said this will deliver millions more pounds of wild scallops to American tables each year and create jobs across the East Coast, from Virginia to Massachusetts.
I didn't work for many decades as a gay activist fighting for equal rights including marriage equality to be defined as a slur and/or as a radical ideology (aka queer theory). I am gay not queer!
Washington D.C. is putting on the LARGEST fireworks show in history to celebrate America's 250th birthday. But how does The Washington Post choose to cover it?
They ran a FRONT-PAGE warning about the pollution and smoke from the fireworks.
Who cares about the millions of families gathering to remember where freedom came from or the veterans who bled and died to protect it! Trump is president. So we can't have nice things!
Hey Washington Post... water is wet, the sun is hot, and fireworks create smoke. We get it. Put that on page A17. But when your automatic reflex to the greatest milestone in modern history is to desperately search for a dark cloud instead of sunlight, you’ve completely forgotten what the news is supposed to do. No wonder half the lights in your building are out.
What makes King Charles's announcement at once horrific and utterly inane is that "faiths" by definition NEED no defender. It is only the One True Faith that needs defenders. Lies and confusion and heresies and idolatries will get alone just fine.
"When you look at homicide or any serious crime category in this country, what do you see over and over and over again? ...The guy had 15 priors, the guy had 20 priors, the guy was out on parole, the guy was out on probation...
What the hell is this person doing out on the street? Why are they there? And the answer too often is that we just didn't have the stomach to do what was necessary."
@Rafa_Mangual on the @ClayTravis & @BuckSexton show:
Capitalism favors human flourishing, and its greatest beneficiaries are the poor, not the rich. The rich have more to lose, while the poor have the most to gain because capitalism expands opportunity instead of redistributing scarcity. As wealth is created, the poor gain access to better jobs, lower prices, higher wages, and technologies that were once luxuries reserved for the wealthy.
