🚨My fear is that next week the Prime Minister will create an illusion of fiscal prudence while accumulating $733 billion in generational debt.

Debt-to-GDP ratio? No longer the government's primary fiscal anchor.

$19 billion per year in operating expenses? Re-labled as capital investments.

Borrowing? $733 billions over 5 years, much of it hidden in Crown corporations, obscured from Canadians' visibility.

Yet, the government will tell Canadians it is on the path to balancing its operating budget.

The Justice Statutes Amendment Act, 2026 (No. 2) bans preferential hiring and promotion based on race, gender identity, sexual orientation, or other “personal characteristics”

in government agencies, schools, universities, municipalities, and Crown entities.

Banned outright:

Ameliorative (DEI) hiring and promotion programs
Mandatory training on DEI, unconscious bias, or cultural competency

Any required training that dictates political, historical, or social opinions or pushes identity-based moral superiority and preferential treatment

Merit is back. Ideological loyalty tests are out.

Sept 2025. Interim PBO Jason Jacques at committee: "If you don't change, this is done."

Then came Carney's first budget. Jacques' verdict:
"The Government's new anchor is unlikely to hold."

The odds it holds? 7.5%.

He found $94 billion counted as "investment" that doesn't meet the PBO's own definition. He called it "a made-in-Ottawa definition of capital."

And the debt anchor Carney confirmed in September? "Abandoned six weeks later."

His term ran out. Annette Ryan got the permanent job.

Oct 2026. New watchdog. Same story.

Interest on the debt: about $25B a year five years ago. $59B now. More than the Canada Health Transfer for the first time. Headed to $83B.

"The fastest growing piece of government spending right now."

$333B in new deficits over five years. $733B in new borrowing.

$400B going to Crown corps, loans and special funds "just a step removed from parliamentary oversight."

And those fiscal anchors? "More like traffic lights."

Two watchdogs. Two years. Same message.

🚨 EU PARLIAMENT ERUPTS as Christine Anderson warns joining is a TRAP!

Ursula von der Leyen floated the idea of Canada becoming the EU’s first “associate member” in her State of the Union speech. Mark Carney was in the room and later said he welcomed the ambition for closer ties.

The term does not exist in the EU treaties. It has no legal definition. Germany, France and several other countries have already pushed back on putting that label in the draft declaration for the Montreal summit next week. They want the substance settled before anyone starts using the branding.

Canada already has CETA. Two-way goods trade with the United States is still in the hundreds of billions. An undefined “associate” arrangement is not a substitute for that volume, and it comes with the EU’s regulatory model attached.

Carney has spent months talking about reducing reliance on the United States. This is the alternative he is entertaining. Canadians have not been shown what the arrangement actually requires or what it costs.

Carney's Liberal MPs AJOURNED a committee meeting to prevent a vote on a motion to recover $34 million wrongly paid by the scandal-ridden Sustainable Development Technology Canada.

This org's chair gave MONEY to her OWN company.

Conservatives demanded the cash back from five ineligible projects.

After debate, Liberals voted to adjourn the Public Accounts Committee meeting before any decision.

Jean Yip, Tom Osborne and Kristina Tesser Derksen shut it down.

Industry Minister Mélanie Joly had already declared recovery “not in the public interest.”

An independent board and lawyers agreed the companies acted in good faith.

SDTC, the so-called green slush fund, was created in 2001 to fund clean tech.

Under the Liberals it faced whistleblower complaints, ethics violations and a damning Auditor General report.

The AG found $59 million went to ineligible projects and $76 million involved conflicts of interest.

Board chair Annette Verschuren approved money for her own firm. The agency was later dissolved.

Taxpayers lost millions.
