Cricket is nearly back! The 2026 South Nottinghamshire Cricket League (@SouthNottsCL) season is upon us and starts a week on Saturday! Details of all of our First and Second XI fixtures are below ๐
Gameday #1 for our First XI in Division E of @SouthNottsCL under the new captaincy of Satish Tadi. The team make the short trip a couple of miles along the A52 to face Bengal United CC at Beeston Fields Recreation Ground (1pm start). Best of luck and go well ๐ค
The very best of luck to our Womenโs indoor softball team who aim to cap an excellent winter season in which they finished 2nd in the league by competing in the Finals Day at @TrentBridge today. Go well all and enjoy the occasion ๐
A big well done to all those who took away trophies from the event ๐ Thanks also to all players, officials & volunteers for being a vital part of our season. Whilst the playing of outdoor cricket now ceases, lots is happening behind the scenes to ensure the clubโs progression!
It was awards day yesterday, with the clubโs juniors players receiving trophies prior to the Charity T20 match and, with the weather having badly deteriorated, the senior players awards were presented in a packed bar inside the pavilion. For the seniors, award winners were ๐

Today, we held a charity cricket match at #Bramcote Park to raise money for @MindCharity. Miraculously, we completed a fun T20 game before the slightly later than expected deluge arrived โ๏ธ Weโd like to thank @BelperAms CC who provided players for the game! Check out the pics ๐ธ
A little more information about our charity match raising money for Mind this coming Sunday at #Bramcote Park. The teams have been chosen and itโs a showdown between Team ๐ต and Team โช๏ธ. Weโre hoping the weather forecast improves, but will try and get the game on as best we can!
๐จ Promotion alert! ๐จ
With a 46-run victory away at Ruddington yesterday, the 2nd XI secure 2nd place, and promotion, in @SouthNottsCL Division H!
Huge congratulations to captain Satish, vice captain Sam, and the rest of the guys whoโve contributed so magnificently all year ๐ฅณ
Kimberley Institute won the toss here at Bramcote Hills Park and chose to bowl first on a green-looking wicket. Game reduced to 36 overs per innings due to the gloomy forecast for later.
Tomorrow our 1st XI round off their Division E league season by welcoming Kimberley Institute to #Bramcote Hills Park. Our 2nds make the short trip to Ruddington for another important game as they try and secure a top-2 finish. Both games get underway at 1pm. Go well everyone! ๐
Congratulations to Thomas Evans on making the County honours board this week. Albeit in a losing cause for the First XI, his spell of 5-22 from ten overs (full figures were 10-2-22-5) was an excellent and fiery display of bowling ๐
Helping the Second XI to a commanding, and ultimately unassailable total yesterday, were fantastic contributions from Abhimanyu Billawria (112 not out) & William Mao (52). Hereโs the ๐ธโs of Abhi reaching his ton and a content looking Will after his first senior half-century ๐
Not to be for the Firsts today. All out for 140 chasing 204. Good effort from the guys who gave it everything. But a great win for the Second XI. A mammoth first innings score of 282-6 was too much for Whatton & Aslockton, and the winning run continues ๐
First XI bowled Caunton out for 204 from 44 overs. After a promising start in reply, Bramcote are struggling at 43-3 from 15 overs after two quick wickets.
