I love this for you @McNuttMonica! Yes, some of us have had moments in our career that amplify our visibility. Make no mistake, the reason you are uniquely prepared to contextualize this inflection point is because of the hard work you have put in for years. Fully embrace what JS said, because it’s TRUE!

“I’m sitting next to the best player in the world. And not only is she the best player in the world, she’s the best leader I’ve ever been around…”
I don’t consider Caitlin Clark being left off the Olympic team, a snub. Now when Candace Parker and Nneka Ogwumike were left off the Olympic teams, THAT was a snub. Nneka was league MVP, led Team USA in scoring a year before the Olympics, and was MVP of the FIBA qualifying tournament. CP had won two gold medals, was a former MVP and a champion. Think Nneka is the only WNBA MVP to not make an Olympic roster.
After @JayDavis_1981 reported the Pistons' interest in bringing a WNBA team back to Detroit, @Phil_Lewis_ shared this @KoryEWoods article––in which Ryan Reed of the Women's Basketball League says the WNBA abandoned the 'DETROIT SHOCK' trademark and he purchased it last year.
