The USTRep (and now Secretary Bessent) are openly asking if the PM is actively misrepresenting the US trade deal for his own political purposes. They say he is falsely characterising the longstanding Netflix tax and packaging disputes as an “attack on Quebec”. And calling demands against the Chinese trans-shipment scam an attack on Canadian sovereignty.

Those are very big and very direct claims.

If USTR Greer is a liar, release the text of the trade deal.

Were being shown ‘polls’ that Canadians blindly agree with Carney’s retributive approach to the US deal when they have been given no information of what was in it.

Among the many revelations were instances where two of CNN's most high-profile anchors were private pals behind the scenes with the man they were theoretically tasked with reporting on objectively.

None of it was ever publicly addressed. Not by Tapper, not by Bash, not by anyone at CNN.

Complete and total silence.

The play was to let the furor die, let the news cycles grind away, and let the facts fade from memory.

And it worked.

It's been completely memory-holed, just one month later.

(Thankfully it was Gaz and not Mintzy who arrived 1st) Then the rest of the troops rushed in followed by Cody and Travy for the Boys to help out. Now what we got to pay very close attention to in the security footage we pulled is how @TomScibelli (in red) handled this explosive situation. Bravery like this can not go unnoticed. Totally secured and locked down the office. The police did show up and arrest the guy. Danny may need a few stiches and a couple beers. All in all another day at the Stool. Shoutout Mandami’s NYC

Gary, Indiana, mayor says his city is "100%" being neglected because it's a predominantly black city after going 13 days without power.

The electric company, NIPSCO, says they were forced to pause work after their crew was shot at while they were helping restore power.

NIPSCO says their employees were scouting when someone started shooting at them. The marked NIPSCO Jeep was reportedly hit twice, with one bullet being lodged in the headrest.

"We’ve paused work out there until the city and company get a plan in place [for our safety]," NIPSCO said at the time.

"Our men and women are busting their *** 24/7 to get the power back on for 300,000 people spread over three counties, so it’s unfortunate and shouldn’t have happened."

They have since resumed power restoration.
