Regardless though I hope this helps more guests obtain a virtual pass because the ride is incredible and one of the most immersive dark rides in existence! Of course the virtual pass system in general seems to be more temporary and a solution for the time being. #EpicUniverse

Universal Orlando/Epic Universe fixed the issue surrounding guests being able to obtain a Virtual pass for Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry while not actively being at the park. Now, guests will see this message if they have not scanned into the park. Great news! 🧵

It begs the question if in the future the system will allow those with a valid ticket or AP for the day (but not yet scanned in the park) to obtain a virtual pass along with scanned in guests all while being able to differentiate between guests without a ticket etc.
