@BPredict We could cover a mere 25% of the uninhabitable desert out west with solar panels and power *all* of North America. We’re just waiting on the next generation of battery to get developed (Li-ion not scalable). Nuclear is there for on-demand power. Geo/hydro always churning. Doable!
@kraigbowers34 TKR and Furst are going to give Purdue a 5-out look next year that may even be harder to collectively defend as a team than this year’s team.
Smith, Loyer, Heide, TKR, and Furst, with a whole offseason to really gel as a first unit, is one hell of a starting 5. Yes daddy please.
@oldenoughtosay@AJemaineClement That’s fine
Gender learning & participation gaps (girls w/ STEM & business, boys w/ reading & language arts) close in gendered classrooms where it isn’t assumed (esp. by the teachers!!) that the boys & girls are better/worse at some stuff.
Let kids focus on school in school IMO
@paularambles Of course it was religion. It’s a free day - it doesn’t count! It’s not a day! Nobody works, nobody goes to school, nobody goes to service.
They want 12 days of Christmas? Okay. Don’t count the free day. It’s not friggin hard. It’s just change and people don’t like change :(
@Aaron_Torres Anybody talking about the FT disparity is either being purposefully disingenuous or is just wildly uninformed.
There are 351 D1 bball teams.
One team is in the TOP 15 in BOTH shooting FTs AND avoiding opponent FTs.
The other team is in the BOTTOM 40 in BOTH categories.
C’m on
This is not just happening in Florida but across the country. Lawmakers are dismantling child labor protections on behalf of corporate interests who are desperate to address worker shortages but unwilling to just pay people better wages.
