The cycle always reaches a point of awakening, where emerging elites support the people’s awakening, civil wars and revolutions break out, and those new ruling elites become the new oligarchy, while the old oligarchies that survived, whether by blending into the new system or moving to another country, continue on.

We are caught in a cycle of oligarchic power. Every time there is a change in power, all resistance from the previous regime is suppressed, including its books and knowledge. A new culture is shaped, and this delays the next awakening of the people for generations.

Propaganda during a war always goes unnoticed when it comes from your own side.

If we take the war between Ukraine and Russia as an example, both the Russian and Ukrainian sides are committing atrocities and killing civilians. If you watch the news from each country, both portray the other side as the root of all evil and use that excuse to continue committing their own atrocities.

Every conflict is always like this; they’ll always try to convince you that we have to hit the enemy hard because the enemy is hitting us hard. But in the end, that only creates an unstoppable cycle of chaos and destruction—a cycle from which the big corporations that develop weapons and military security profit.
