#Braves and #Senators. Usually reasonable, occasionally political. Smarter than you think I am, not as smart as I think I am

[BravesInSession @BravesInSession]

Been a while since I was fully tuned in to #Cyclone sports. College athletics is just too splintered these days to hold my fandom like it used to. I still love ISU, but this stupid account will focus more on Senators Hockey & Braves baseball. All 3 of you who follow me, thank you

[BravesInSession @BravesInSession]

One thing that this is just reinforcing tonight, is how remarkably wide the gap was between the AL and the NL this year. I’m fairly confident in saying that any of the NLDS teams would win the series against the Rays

[BravesInSession @BravesInSession]

@PaulShaheen @usahockey @FlaPanthers @NHLBlackhawks Because they eat crayons

[BravesInSession @BravesInSession]

This #WorldSeries looks like the 2015 Royals reincarnated, but with more offensive momentum. So cool to see a team like the #Brewers succeed in the modern game like this. Feel for #Rays fans. They ran into a buzz saw

[BravesInSession @BravesInSession]

Someone check in on @DerekVanRiper’s neighbors… the noise levels that they must be enduring are dangerous at prolonged exposure

[BravesInSession @BravesInSession]

This #Brewers offense just doesn’t take at bats off. They were very “3 true outcomes” early in the playoffs, but that was out of character. They are in many ways the antithesis of the modern team build. Love to see it succeed like this. #WorldSeries

[BravesInSession @BravesInSession]

@OurSf49ers Should have stood..:

[BravesInSession @BravesInSession]

By week 9 it’s going to be Brock Purdy throwing to the water boy and handing it off to the team massage therapist #49ers

[BravesInSession @BravesInSession]

#49ers someone hang on to the ball challenge

[BravesInSession @BravesInSession]

There’s a reason I never use @StubHub

I’ve had wayyyy to many bad experiences, and they are wildly overpriced. Between StubHub and Ticketmaster, the event ticket purchasing options in the US and Canada are borderline (and not that borderline) criminal

[Scott Friedman 🎟️ @ScottFriedman3]

The sickening stories keeping coming in…😢😢😢

SHAME ON YOU, @StubHub.

Imagine being a kid, a HUGE @Brewers fan, and finding out you’re going to see your team play in the WORLD SERIES! ⚾️💙💛

The excitement. The anticipation. The memories you’re already imagining making.

Now imagine having that excitement ripped away because a company sold your 3 tickets that you bought, that they apparently can’t deliver.

That’s exactly what we’re dealing with right now.

We purchased THREE tickets to the Milwaukee Brewers World Series for Game 1 last Tuesday(13th) through StubHub. We selected our section, our row, paid for our tickets, and received our order confirmation.

Everything was supposed to be set.

Then suddenly, StubHub tells us they’re “searching for replacement options” because they can’t provide the tickets we purchased.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!

How does a company accept someone’s hard earned money, confirm a purchase, and then turn around and say they can’t fulfill it?!

And their solution? We can request a refund while they continue looking for tickets.

THIS ISN’T ABOUT THE MONEY.

It’s about the experience. It’s about the memories. It’s about the excitement of a kid, his dad, and grandpa, who thought they were going to watch their favorite baseball team play on the biggest stage in baseball.

Look at the first picture. That’s the disappointment you’re creating, StubHub.

A refund doesn’t replace that moment.

And here’s what really bothers me…

StubHub advertises a “FanProtect Guarantee” and tells customers their orders are “100% guaranteed.”

Guaranteed WHAT, exactly?!

Because from where we’re sitting, that guarantee doesn’t feel worth much when you can’t deliver the tickets you sold us.

We did everything right. We purchased through a major ticket marketplace. We trusted the confirmation. We trusted the guarantee.

Now it’s time for StubHub to make it right.

We aren’t asking for anything extra. We want the three tickets we paid for, or comparable or better seats together, at no additional cost.

Stubhub…DO BETTER.

Please SHARE this. Not just for us, but for every fan who has trusted a ticket company with an experience that means so much more than the price of admission.

@RobSchneider I live in Canada. We’re quite capable of criticizing our own history & foreign policy

But a MAGA loyalist declaring Canada “lost its soul” after gleefully sacrificing constitutional democratic principles at the altar of a dimwitted rapist?

Politics ain’t your thing, Deuce 👍

[BravesInSession @BravesInSession]

Between that goalie pull with SOOOO much offensive momentum, and the absolutely terrible power play that the Sens have had for… a while… someone again wax poetic about how Green deserves this extension, please. Because to my mind he’s holding them back.

[BravesInSession @BravesInSession]

This Sens Powerplay is so fucking embarrassing.

[BravesInSession @BravesInSession]

Ottawa is clearly the better team, but just don’t have their heads in this game. Finally waking up a bit, but Green simply didn’t have them ready.

[BravesInSession @BravesInSession]

As much as people seem to think Green is deserving of his extension, games like tonight are why he honestly isn’t. The Sens simply weren’t ready for this game. Let down after last night, and that 100% coaching. #GoSensGo

[BravesInSession @BravesInSession]

I totally understand Ottawa not being fully locked in tonight, but this is a terrible effort. Halliday is playing like shit.

[BravesInSession @BravesInSession]

@demorizi_eddie Tell me you don’t know Canadians without telling me you don’t know Canadians

[BravesInSession @BravesInSession]

👀

[Sportsnet @Sportsnet]

When Brady Tkachuk returned to Ottawa as a despised member of the Panthers, Senators fans unleashed their combative spirit, bringing a level of sustained savagery that would make even the most vindictive fanbases proud. (@Dixononsports) https://t.co/WTIPsUQIBG

[BravesInSession @BravesInSession]

@RO_1096 As an American who has lived and traveled all over the US but is currently living in Canada, trust me when I tell you that it is better here. So, unless your sole criteria for not wanting to live somewhere is having to buy a coat, then Canada clears the US in most categories

[BravesInSession @BravesInSession]

@absolutelym4ne If you actually believe that’s the whole story, then I understand how you come to that conclusion. If, on the other hand, you want to acknowledge the full ACTUAL story, then this conclusion is nonsensical.

[BravesInSession @BravesInSession]

@BlackFarmsAg Have the courage to tag someone if you’re going to do this stupid shit. Easiest block of my life.
