@HeathStewSports Should have just refused to play an 11am Sunday game. Just loaded up and went home and said they breached their contract by not having functioning facilities. Now a short week for a FBS match up. Should have been no for that reason ALONE.

@BravesStats @BarrettSallee Many people also do not understand that how far the bat traveled has absolutely nothing to do with whether it is judged to be a swing or not. It is a simple judgement call as to whether the batter attempted to strike the ball.

@BravesStats @BarrettSallee You are correct. And it isn't a true appeal. It's asking the umpire to ask for help. The umpire does not have to grant it.

Now, I have long believed that the batter should have the same right to ask for help, but they don't. If the plate umpire calls it a swing, it is a swing.
