Bringing individuals and groups into innovative collaborations to get things done. Senator in Vermont General Assembly. Chair of Natural Resources and Energy.
@DaveSilberman@thegridkid Spelling bee is fun but quite flawed--in addition to declining real words (eg luff, atlatl) and excluding science, it uses an ocean of dreck (eg yech, pfft, and various noises spelled phonetically). Esp if you're going to exclude science, then please skip the dreck too.
@BeckImpact @LachlanFrancis Hey Alexander -- thanks for speaking up--and you've got me curious. Can you explain a little more about what you're seeing? ie who's being penalized in what ways? and by whom? Thanks.
TRUE AFFORDABILITY means more than a one-time benefit.
WEATHERIZATION delivers a lifetime of benefits—to the homeowner or renter, to the community, and to the state.
This is what I plan to work on next session with a great team of Vermonters. Let's get going.#vtpoli
Remembering Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Great story about women, equality, the ERA, empowerment, and RBG's legal acumen, not just in her jurisprudence, but in choosing how to tackle gender equity.
May she rest in peace. https://t.co/nOZyDvIaTT

Breaking: The Vermont Senate voted today to add forests protection criteria to #Act250. Thank you, Senator @Bray4VT and the Senate Committee on Natural Resources and Energy for your leadership on this issue! #vtpoli
I plan to join you next time, but Friday I was still at work —prepping the Senate veto override for global warming — and getting Act 250 and three other bills to the governor’s desk before we adjourn. See you soon!
RBG was an inspiration. My heart may be heavy, but she would have wanted us to carry her legacy forward. That will be the true celebration of her life.

I nearly fell off the couch when @kerrywashington mentioned her 8th grade constitutional law class. I was her teacher. And so proud of her professional accomplishments and political advocacy.

There is a LOT going on in response to COVID. Here's a brief summary with links to more information.
And let’s stay healthy by continuing to use the best practices we all know: masking, distancing, hand washing, and not touching your face.

This movie on renewable energy and the environmental movement starts a conversation. Let's have it b/c we are failing on many environmental fronts. Thank you @MMFlint, @jeffgibbstc, @OzzieZehner
