The Big Blue Texans are Amarillo College Black and Blue World Series champions.

The group, captained by Gabe Watson, defeated the Black 66’s 17-10 on Wednesday to win the series 3-1.

Watson hit his 3rd homer of the series and Grant Watkins added his second homer for Big Blue.

The Big Blue Texans take game 1 of the Amarillo College Black & Blue World Series with a 14-7 win over the Black 66's.

The winning squad hit 4 home runs, led by Gabe Watson's two longballs and 6 RBIs. Bret Deegan and Grant Watkins added one homer each.

Game 2 set for Monday.
