📢 The New Ord Update 0.6.0 and its effects on BRC-20

TLDR;
- We found some issues that breaks existing #brc20 balances
- For now, we won't apply the update and keep paying close attention to it.

The primary issue arises due to the implementation of "cursed inscriptions" in the latest Ord update. The previous version (0.5.2) was unaware of these inscriptions, leading to some hiccups in the token balance.

For instance, if a cursed inscription is re-inscribed, the old Ord version would create a valid mint inscription, effectively increasing the minter's balance.

However, when the same cursed inscription is re-indexed with the new release, it becomes "unbounded" as it was cursed before.

Unbounded inscriptions are an issue because they don't have an address, and hence they are not tracked. This directly impacts BRC-20 balances, causing them to "break."

Since the re-inscribe feature hasn't been fully implemented yet, this update will cause inconsistencies in BRC-20 balances.

Therefore, we recommend not to update the BRC-20 indexer's Ord node until this issue is resolved and backward compatibility is ensured.
