Baton Rouge Community College recently celebrated its 30th commencement ceremony, during which eight student-athletes from the Bears Baseball team received their degrees.
Congratulations to former Bears Baseball student-athletes Ethan Menard and Colin McDonald on their graduation. Ethan graduated from Northwestern State University and Colin graduated from Louisiana State University

BRCC’s Kenneth Berard was named NJCAA National Player of the Week after a big weekend at the plate durian the Region 23 baseball tournament. Kenny hit .444 with 4 homers, 8 RBIs and 5 runs. Kenny hit three homer in a row in the opening game against LSUE.

The Bears fought hard but fell short against the Delgado Dolphins this afternoon, losing by a final score of 7-4 in the Region XXIII Tournament. This marks the conclusion of the Bears’ baseball season for 2026. We would like to thank parents, fans, and supporters of the program.

The Bears are not ready to go home just yet. They defeated the Nunez Pelicans 2-1 to survive and advance in the Region XXIII Baseball Tournament. It was a total team effort by the Bears this evening after a long day in New Orleans. The Bears will play on Sunday, May 10, at 2 PM
