i saw a tweet the other day talking about a gw jfan who seemed to be someone who attends many fansigns/events, who was crouched down sobbing at the kc*n la front row barricade last year for a super long time just bc gw took a selfie with different fans at another part of the stage, and she kept repeating she wanted to ☠️

and i know they must be talking about the exact same jfan who i was standing directly behind at kc*n la day 1 last year

she suddenly bent down in front of me at one point and was straight up crouched down at the barricade full on SOBBING while her friend was patting her back and comforting her, and she stayed like that for soooo long me and my cousin were wondering wtf was wrong

and then when gw would pass by, her friend would try to get his attention and point out the sobbing jgpd as if trying to guilt him and imply he was the reason for this/he should comfort her, and he looked very confused and worried but made a sorry face and apologizing hands 🙏 to her as she continued to cry in front of the barricade and she stayed crying even afterwards....

the behavior exhibited by the fan was truly insane at the time and i felt bad for gw, but i feel even worse now knowing she was doing all that just bc he took a selfie with a different fan on the other side of the stage??? huh???😭

some of these serial fansign attendees become super obsessive and parasocial to the extreme and begin to want, demand, and expect more and more from their fave bc they spend so much and see them so often

may delete this but i think it gives some nuance and highlights just how unhealthy the dynamic can become when u have a top spending fan who comes to a bunch of ur fansigns/fancalls/events and begins to place super excessive expectations on u, all while u are expected to try to keep them happy
