Complete approximately 60 hours of pre-program training and at least 250 hours of hands-on teaching

Earn between $16 and $18 per hour

Earn HHS 195 Internship credit (3 units)

We have an amazing opportunity for students attending Sacramento State. Breakthrough Sacramento is currently hiring Summer Teaching Interns. We have partnered with the HHS Department, and they have created a class (HSS 195) where you can now earn 3 credits.

Attend four related professional development classes in September 2023 and prepare a presentation of learning to be presented in Fall 2023.

Be assigned a professional mentor teacher who reviews lesson plans, observes instruction, and provides pre-lesson.
