MUMBAI INDIANS HEAD COACH ON ROHIT SHARMA:
"Rohit joined us from the first day of the camp. He was very focused and fresh. He played some good matches, practice games and had match stimulations. I was quite happy the way he was hitting the balls, he batted brilliantly".
Hearing something wild… and honestly, kinda exciting 👀
#AdityaDhar isn’t going the usual biopic route. Instead, he’s cooking up a massive trilogy rooted in Indian civilisation and its cultural depth. Think large scale, Indian legacy… and a lot of imagination. And here’s the twist…
#RanveerSingh might not play one figure, but an amalgamation of legends like Samrat Vikramaditya, Samudragupta & Chandragupta Maurya. It could be a fictional movie build around aura of these characters or could be a trilogy exploring all 3 of them who shaped the “Akhand Bharat” in ancient time
This apparently ties back to Aditya’s long-standing dream of creating a larger-than-life ancient world (he once wanted to do it with Ashwatthama… looks like that vision isn’t dead after all).
Now the crazy part…
Budget whispers going north of ₹1000 CR for the trilogy and word is that Jio & Birla names in the mix. But at this moment production house not locked yet.
Plan is:
Ranveer wraps/announces Pralay first… then this moves ahead. Word is that script already in progress. Lokesh Dhar handling the money side of things.
If even half of this is true… this could be one of the most ambitious things Indian cinema has attempted.
(Again… rumour mill. But a very loud one.)
mumbai indians ditching rohit sharma and making hardik as their captain will always be the biggest embarrasment on their legacy. no gain, only losses with that move. lost their core fandom, respect and goodwill. they thought rohit will slowly wither away & retire as he is in the twilight of his career, but turns out bro is as destructive as ever, making mi feel the heat of their mistake.
As per BBNG - Aditya Dhar’s Next: A Grand Chandragupta Maurya–Era Epic with Ranveer Singh in Talks
Word is that Aditya Dhar is gearing up for a major new project—reportedly a large-scale historical epic set in the era of Chandragupta Maurya, with Ranveer Singh associated with the film.
One interesting detail: it’s not yet confirmed whether Ranveer will portray Chandragupta Maurya himself.
The information circulating suggests it may instead be a story set within that historical period, rather than a direct biopic—so the exact focus remains unclear for now.
An official announcement is expected sometime in November. At present, discussions are underway with Jio and Birla, with one of them likely to come on board as the financier.
That said, timelines are still flexible, so the announcement could shift slightly—but it is expected to happen within this year.
#RanveerSingh #AdityaDhar
His sister was wronged by a minister’s men. His family was destroyed, his younger sister suffered, and he lost everything. He fought everyone just to save her, yet couldn’t even meet his mother in the end.
And you expect fans to shout like chapris in theatres?
Ranveer has done more story driven and versatile roles than Ranbir
Ranbir in every movie has a father son issue
Ranveer on the other has hardly any script repetitive
Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge has delivered a historic box office feat overseas, emerging as the highest-grossing Indian film in North America by surpassing SS Rajamouli's directed Baahubali 2: The Conclusion's long-standing record.
The Ranveer Singh starrer has crossed the $20.80 million mark in just 9 days, overtaking Baahubali 2's lifetime gross in the region. What makes this achievement extraordinary is the speed; a record that stood tall for nearly a decade has now been broken in under ten days. - Sacnilk
