@lufcMM0@MikeLUHG_Olivia I'm also struggling to remember Arsenal drifting into mediocrity and having to rely on bent ownership to get out of it. As a Spurs fan I don't enjoy them winning, but their success doesn't come with an asterisk.
@carpo157@SpursOfficial United were favourites for Fernandes for about 24 hours over the weekend. I'd like to think it is encouraging that we are shorter again, but it's Spurs.
@paulchrisTHFC The Ugarte injury doesn't change the amount of payments United already owe for this summer or West Ham needing a fairly decent chunk of the fee immediately.
@joshs_space Yup. Everyone should chill for as long as the bookies have us as favourites for Fernandes/Tonali and not get too worked up unless we miss out on Wharton and Scott too.
@HalfwayLino We signed a highly rated young player for about 13m and his stock was still high enough in South America to get 9m of it back when things didn't work out. No club has a 100% record when signing youngsters, should we stop trying?
@Myke_88 It would be ideal if Barca are still interested. As much as I'd love the club to give Marinakis a taste of his own medicine, they are likely to have the fundage and Bergvall would do more damage to us at Villa or the chavs.
I'd rather we kept both, but if we get around 80m for Bergvall and Vuskovic, isn't there an argument for keeping Lange around to focus on youth? Some profit there. #thfc
@Harry_Hotspur0 You aren't alone! With De Zerbi it feels like I'm trying not to fall in love with a player on loan, I really hope we are the club he finally spends a decent length of time with.
@LeLouvre It doesn't have to be Tonali. The prospect of spending that sort of money to back De Zerbi is exciting after two decades of penny pinching. Levy set us up to be able to spend when the time was right and it could be now.
@sufferingspurs@Kershaw444@donhutch4 Ignoring Romero and Dragusin as they are off, we now have some of the best depth in the league in defence and have sorted it within days of the window opening. It will be a good season.
@sufferingspurs@Kershaw444@donhutch4 Even with the injuries had De Zerbi, or any number of more capable managers than Frank or Tudor, been in charge all season we'd have been comfortably in the top half. The rebuild, if you even call it that, isn't as big as people think.
@SAFC_LE0@ektastottenham Fab, as good as he often is, wasn't anywhere near the Odobert signing. Wouldn't surprise me if Lange can pull off similar moves without too much attention.
