A 21-year Army veteran with three combat tours, Brennan has turned his personal struggle with PTSD and alcohol dependence into a mission of advocacy. Since discovering the benefits of medical cannabis in 2017, he has been a dedicated medical marijuana patient under the Texas Compassionate Use Program since 2021. His commitment to change led him to participate in a comprehensive study evaluating the efficacy of cannabis medicines for veterans with PTSD.
Brennan is a sought-after speaker at events like the Texas Cannabis Policy Conference, public screenings of the documentary ‘Unprescribed’ as well as various political and social gatherings across the state. As a leader in Texas Veterans for Medical Cannabis, he passionately believes that ongoing education and activism are crucial to dispelling the myths surrounding cannabis in the Texas Legislature. Through his efforts, he aims to empower fellow veterans and advocate for the healing potential of cannabis.

There has never been a more important year to collectively protest for cannabis freedom in Texas. Join us on Saturday, October 5th in downtown Fort Worth at Burnett Park from 12-7. We march at 4:20.
