Itβs Brain Injury Awareness month, so I thought I should open up about my experience. Mine is an Anoxic Brain Injury, which is one of the more severe types, and every day, my family and friends step up to help me navigate the challenges. I am so grateful for them.
March is Brain Injury Awareness Month π§ π
Every brain injury story is different, but they all deserve to be seen, heard, and supported. Today we honor the survivors, families, caregivers and advocates who face the challenges of brain injury with courage every single day. Together we can create a community that listens, learns, and lifts each other up.

Some people are saying I got fat - all from a selfie where I just wanted to share my cute new haircut. Wellβ¦Iβm just grateful to be here. As a TBI survivor, itβs tough just getting through each day anymore. To everyone who left a supportive comment - I LOVE YOU!
