@PublicHealth
@BeschlossDC has done a brilliant job recreating the events of the four days following JFKs assassination 60 years this week. Many of the places he’s highlighted and more are included in my guide JFK in DC - available free on Kindle Unlimited. #jfk https://t.co/7xsNQqIiDx
Marking the 60th anniversary of the tragic #jfk assassination and sharing free access on Kindle Unlimited to my guide to JFK memorial sites in DC. #ripmrpresident https://t.co/7xsNQqIQt5
@BeschlossDC I was not born then - but like many in the generation before me, I was inspired by his example of public service and went to the eternal flame on my first day in DC. I put together this little guide to all the other sites where #ripjfk is remembered. https://t.co/7xsNQqIQt5
Sending a massive thank you to everyone who works to protect and advance public health. Your efforts save lives. Happy Public Health Thank You Day! #PHTYD#PublicHealthHeroes
JFK in DC: A Walking Tour and Illustrated Guide to JFK-Related Sites in Washington, DC recently soared to #72 on the Amazon best seller list! (In the category of geographic history). @JFKonThisDay @JFKSaid #johnkennedy#jfk https://t.co/NwMJ2GDos8
That memory was the inspiration for this guide to many of the places where he lived, worked, and is remembered today. Promotion is awkward, but I hope this makes a nice gift for the history aficionado in your family. It’s free if you have Kindle Unlimited in paperback #JFK
Next week marks the 60th anniversary of the death of John F. Kennedy. I first came to Washington 30 years ago inspired by his example of public service. The first place I visited upon arriving was the eternal flame marking his grave in Arlington Cemetery.
Excited to be in Atlanta signing copies of Vaccinating America today at 2:30 in Exhibit Hall. If you’re not @apha you can get the book here https://t.co/9XhLJBOMRn @APHAPress
"Today, as we mark the end of a public health emergency that has claimed more American lives from COVID-19 than all American battles combined, there is no single cemetery to dedicate and few words that can describe the incalculable loss we have suffered as a nation."
As the COVID-19 public health emergency ends, "We cannot simply move on, but we can move forward together." APHA's Georges Benjamin and @AIMimmunization's Brent Ewig weigh in https://t.co/ALTPM7hoYF
