I’ve been pretty disheartened at how little coverage and attention Trump’s attacks on the environment and our planet have received so going to start a thread to keep track of as many as possible.

you ever think about how we all lived through a pandemic where an estimated 35 million people died and how it almost certainly drove everyone a bit insane
Not sure I could ever prove I had Long COVID but it certainly seemed like that’s what I had.
The irritability and mood changes could have been depression but motion sickness and brain fog out of nowhere after getting COVID is quite the coincidence lol
I don’t doubt there are people with hypochondria and anxiety disorders claiming to have Long COVID but I got mild COVID in 2022 and had motion sickness and brain fog for months and months after that.
I found myself far more irritable, less in control of emotions, etc.
@willsextonx The article is literally about a white guy in Pennsylvania who went bankrupt from gambling.
A bunch of foreigners would also probably have better things to do here than get high off of opioids in West Virginia trailers.
Extremely depressing that there’s now a direct line between the Holocaust and the historical and generational trauma for Jews it created and Israel committing genocide in Gaza.
Millions of people’s lives are being ruined with the clicks of a few buttons each day. This is going to be the new opioid epidemic.

I’ve never really understood people who think death is a greater punishment than life in prison.
Yes, it’s the end to all things, but seems to me like spending decades upon decades behind bars — even in the nicest prisons — is more intolerable than a relatively quick death.
There’s something very medieval peasant about those who support the death penalty.
Not only because “an eye for an eye” is very primitive at its core, but because supporters cannot even conceive of universal values and think society should be run based on emotion and impulses.
