I use Amazon Music for streaming music. I have a Fire TV Stick plugged into the AVR instead of the TV, using any free HDMI input. The music quality is FLAC up to 24-bit 192 kHz, including ATMOS. Not as good as vinyl, but close.
Make sure you enable the highest possible audio in the app settings. Amazon defaults at Standard Quality for reasons mentioned in the original post.
