@nixcraft Developers need easy to setup local environment. Documentation must be worked on continuously by everyone. You need minimum three forms of documentation: user (used by designers, testers and.. users), admin (used by developers and operations), developer (used by designers, devs).

@nixcraft Code reviews and a form of pull requests should always be practiced. Architect must be involved in review of each implementation idea by process. Database must be backed up regularly. Database restore must be easy for developers on test environments.

@nixcraft To backup before changing. To version everything- code and configuration. Only continuous tear down and setup of application server guarantees comparable deployment baseline as time flies. Libraries must have as little dependencies as possible, preferably none.
