Unfortunately the film has a few scenes that didn't look that good from a CGI perspective, special the plane landing.
Not a lot of Ferrari going on but the story of the film outshines.
It was just a down right good film to watch and enjoy!

According to my sister the film is nothing like the book which seems like a real strange choice and the fact that their are 5 of these books and no one talks about them is just as weird.
The star power this film has was crazy!

Annihilation is such a beautiful fucking film to watch but GOD DAMN IT is the story confusing as fuck
I don't know why I'm so drawn to this film. Every time I think of a very colorful film I always think of Annihilation

The visuals, how characters interact, hell how the world interacts all feels genuine.
The only thing I would say is the writing isn't great

It does pose the question: If you knew a part of your future and you had the ability to stray away from it or embrace it what would you do?

Arrival is an amazingly complex film and I love it!
Villeneuve is one of the best story tellers and visionaries in modern film making.

I really like how everything unfolds for us with small glimpses that there is something underneath the surface just waiting for us to figure it

Firearms had that fake ass recoil that actors need to mimic. Cobalt not being mentioned or talked about until the very last minutes was corny, as well as the creatures dying. Creatures were said to be mechanical at the end of the film which is weird and just kinda out of the blue

Elevation is a mix of World War Z, War of the World and The Tomorrow War

Honestly I had higher hopes for this film. Not saying I didn't enjoy it but just too many elements didn't make sense for me.
I love anything Anthony Mackie!

The journey for medical equipment makes sense as well as the lab were they could find something useful but everything past that falls off.

They load ammunition into the magazines backwards. Unfortunately no actor other than Anthony has held a firearm, at least it seems like it.

American cinema has been churning out garbage for quite some time unfortunately, maybe, MAYBE if scripts , animations, story, etc were a bit better maybe the USA would have a thriving film industry but unfortunately it doesn't and it shows
