We are proud to be a part of @Gallowaysblind, which does amazing work to support blind and partially sighted people across Lancashire and Sefton.
Can you help them continue this great work?
Over half of people living with sight loss feel isolated.
But with your help, we can change that.
We are asking if you can help us support more visually impaired people this Christmas by making a small donation: https://t.co/Lmgnc5rFHF
We are still 'dining out' on our award for @SelnetLtd Work or Training Social Enterprise of the Year.
So we thought we would share our acceptance speech which was shown at the ceremony.
Big thank you to Rachel at Selnet for taking the time to visit us to give us the award.
We won!!
Big thank you to everyone at @SelnetLtd for voting for us to be Work or Training Social Enterprise of the Year.
It means a lot to us & is a testament to all our hard work in supporting volunteers through training - all whilst service excellent coffee and cake!
If you like our cakes, how would you like to come and work for us? We are looking for a new cafe manager to help us continue to support @Gallowaysblind.
Interested? Apply by clicking this link: https://t.co/NFtyKW7bfu
As of next week we will continue to work hard to keep our staff & customers safe.
Weโll have hand sanitising stations, a screen at the till, & socially distanced seating. There will also remain the opportunity to leave your track & trace details or scan in with the NHS app.

As the second national lockdown ends on Wednesday, and Lancashire moves into Tier 3,
we will for now be remaining closed. The tier positioning will be reviewed every fortnight, so please do check back with us for the 16th!
Thank you for all your support!
After the weekend's announcement we have taken the decision to close at the end of today. We would like to give a huge warm thank you to everyone who has supported us since reopening, you've been brilliant! This isn't "goodbye", it's just a "see you soon!"
Missing out on trick or treat this year? We've got some goodie bags full of sweets and treats for sale in our cafe for the spooky season. We can tailor them to any dietary or age requirements. Pop in and grab one, with or without a coffee!
In line with the new three tier announcement, we will be continuing face to face appointments at our centres in Penwortham & Morecambe.
Our Brew Me Sunshine cafe, in Victoria St, will also remain open. We can only host groups within one support bubble.

In the build-up to Halloween, we've gone all things pumpkin this week! We have a pumpkin spiced cake of the week, covered in icing and sprinkles, alongside our speciality pumpkin spiced latte, which will be available all through the winter.
Give them a try, if you dare!
As our cafe is now open, sight loss advisors are working from the Ideas Store by appointment. Our team can deal with drop ins for a quick enquiry.
Staff will be following the Covid-safety guidelines, wearing PPE. There is also a perspex guard to maintain social distancing.
In keeping with today's announcement, we will not be able to take bookings for groups that are larger than 6 people. Thanks to everyone so far for being so helpful and safe in returning to our lovely cafรฉ!
