The amount of work and the hours they’re logging is unimaginable. Plus, these men and women are having to be away from their own families and issues at home.
@erinbearhart We use a company called Krampade out of Grand Forks, ND. They habe different flavor options but the Lemon Lime one is pretty tasteless and goes over well with our team, they have different electrolyte levels and are a powder form that travels well.
When we say there’s a shortage of ATs, this is what we mean. There are plenty of ATs. Just not ones that want to do this job any more.
And yes this is a job not a life(style).
This is why I left the traditional setting and see myself leaving the profession within the next 3 yrs
I might seem rigid or callous at times. Please don’t take it personally or think it’s because I don’t care, because I do, and oftentimes too deeply and to a fault. I’m just setting boundaries and protecting my energy. I owe it to myself and my own well-being.
