all relationships can survive mistakes, but they cannot survive patterns. Repeated behavior isn't a mistake, it's a decision, apologies lose meaning when the actions never change
Adulting has humbled me a lot . I finally understand why so many adults stop posting on social media or even deactivate their accounts. Life feels so much peaceful when everything isn't on display. Like they say , out of sight, out of mind.. There's something really comforting about people not knowing every detail of your life.
Ngl adult friendships require GRACE. People are very busy. People are HEALING. People are GROWING. People are taking time for SELF CARE just like you. Less communication isn’t less love. Check in don’t check out.
1. Our skeletons are wet.
2. your nose is ALWAYS in your line of sight, but your brain ignores it
3. When you receive a donated kidney, they don’t take out the bad one. They just add the good one in.
4. Your immune system doesn't know you have eyes. Otherwise, it would attack them and make you blind. injuring one eye can introduce eye bits to the bloodstream and basically give your immune system the knowledge of having eyes. then it might decide it really fucking hates that and attack your non-injured eye.
5. The quality of the male sperm is responsible for morning sickness, preeclampsia, baby’s gender and almost every single pregnancy related issue.
6. You breathe through one nostril at a time. Don’t believe me? Put your finger below your nose and try.
7. The brain itself has no nerve endings, so it can’t feel pain. That’s why patients can be wide awake during brain surgery and made to perform certain actions.
8. That ringing in silence isn’t silence
When everything is quiet and you hear a faint ringing?
That’s your brain listening to its own nervous system.
You are hearing yourself functioning.
9. You will never experience your own death.
You only experience approaching it… Then nothing.
Everyone else gets closure, stories, funerals, and memories.
You don’t.
You never know you’ve become a memory.
From your perspective, the story just stops mid-sentence.
I have a co-worker who never announces anything. You don’t know she applied for a promotion until she’s already in the new office. You don’t realize she bought her own place until she casually mentions “heading home to finish painting.” She doesn’t post milestones. Doesn’t crowdsource opinions. Doesn’t invite commentary.
I used to think she was secretive. That success was supposed to be shared loudly. That excitement needed an audience.
Now I see it differently.
She moves with intention. Quiet. Focused. Certain. Her plans are protected while they’re still fragile. Her joy isn’t diluted by outside noise. She lets things grow roots before she shows the world the bloom.
It isn’t secrecy. It’s discernment. It’s peace. It’s self-trust.
Sometimes the strongest people are the ones who build their lives softly, without applause, and let their results speak when they’re ready.
You have no idea how many times God protected you from things you never even knew were coming.
The job you didn’t get that would’ve put you in the wrong place at the wrong time. The relationship that ended before it could destroy you. The opportunity that fell through because it wasn’t aligned with where He’s taking you. The person who ghosted you because God saw what you couldn’t. The plan that completely unraveled because He had something better waiting.
We spend so much time upset about what didn’t work out that we forget sometimes God’s greatest blessings are the prayers He doesn’t answer, the doors He doesn’t open, the people He removes. Years from now, you’ll look back and realize what felt like rejection was actually redirection. What felt like loss was actually protection. And you’ll thank God for the things that didn’t happen just as much as the things that did.
the worst way for friendships to end is for literally nothing to go wrong, you just stop talking. they stop messaging you to see how you're doing and you get sick of being the first one to initiate conversation so you just let the friendship go and wonder how that person is doing
When you start losing focus on God, He gives you discipline. You sit back and wonder why things went left. You stop praying, you lose focus, you get distracted. He blesses you, and you stop thanking Him. The same amount of time you put into relationships, social media, and TV shows, God wants that same time and dedication from you. Once you commit to Him wholeheartedly, He will turn your life around completely! There’s nothing like the love of God. Stay focused and never lose hope.
unpopular opinion: a lot of “MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES” ease upwhen BILLS are paid, RENT is secure, and the FRIDGE is full. PEACE is expensive, and pretending money doesn’t affect mental health is PRIVILEGE
when i vent. I tell both sides. I never just tell my side cause I always wanna know if I'm tripping or not. I'm not venting for you to be on my side. I'm venting for another point of view.
