@Karcotte @NickSantolla @YankeesPR @BryanHoch That's not how I have understood the rule to work. The player just has to be on your 40 man and they are returned after the 2nd game. When you read the roster move when they announce it tonight or tomorrow for beck, it won't say he was optioned, it will say he was returned.
