@Jakkishh@GarandThumb1 Agreed. Loved the videos on mountain skills,
Being I live in the mountains of WA. Training always better than how much I can spend on a gun.
The Tesla buying process is so underrated.
No haggling, no negotiation. The price you see is the price you pay.
Order online and pick up the car, no sales pressure- payment and details are all done through the app.
@elonmusk We just picked up our first Tesla, 2026 Model Y. Have been using the FSD since second day of ownership. It’s mind blowing how good it is and know it will continue getting better. Teslas are more than a car.
US intelligence briefings have showed there was no imminent threat to the US. This is public information. Or do we distrust those and if you distrust those. Maybe should have some reservations on everything else. For how long have we heard Iran is about ready to have a weapon? I thought Trump ran on no new wars, and here we are. This country is broke and now we are spending billions a day, week, to be over there and for how long. And threatening allies if they don’t come help, on something we started. This is not what I voted for… and Kent is a good man from what I can tell. I voted for him here in WA, when he ran. And would again.
Nope. Have seen this all over my feed and don’t know if it’s true. But for me it is. I have always got up to see the FP’s, Quali and race, even if in the middle of the night. I did not watch any of the FP’s or quali. Started to watch the race after it was done. And a hand full of cars 10+ sec ahead of the rest of the field in 3 laps, several cars DNF by lap 11. Cars look good, hate the battery and active aero. Just want fast cars and drivers that can push them to the limit. Not all this Mario Cart stuff as people rightfully say. Positive, good to see Kimi win a race though.
🚨Large scale protests have erupted in Tehran as tens of thousands of Iranians take to the streets and set government buildings of the Islamic Republic ablaze
People continue to focus on the EV subsides as the reason Elon is angry with the bill. He is against all subsidies, including for oil and gas. Those are not being eliminated, just EV. I do believe he sees this as unfair, as I would. He has stated this in 2021 and again in 2024. I don’t remember a change in message. I believe he has also stated that EV subsides went away, Tesla would be the winner in the EVs, as they are positioned better than the rest.
I agree that outburst from Dlon on the Epstein thing was bad. I have heard elsewhere and I believe it was the cause of escalation too. Elon has seemed to be very principled as you stated. He has been very clear and consistent in his messaging from what I have seen. This includes the EV subsidies. He has stated that he is fine with them going because Tesla would fair better than the rest. He also believes in fairness and remove all subsidies, this includes gas.
Trumps first statement after Elon had been posting about the bill, not at Trump himself. Trump states that Elon knew the bill better than anyone else and claims he is angry because of the EV cuts. While very moderate for Trump, this is a direct hit at Elons character and motives. Again, while this was mild for Trump. I am assuming with how I preceive Elon and knowing what he laid on the line to try and help the government to stop wasting money. Those statements probably felt a 1000X more hurtful than they did any of us. And he is very passionate when he is focused on things.
So while I don’t condone what he posted, I feel I understand where it came from. He is the Nikola Tesla of our time. And while he does some things that I don’t seem to understand. He is managing more than any of us to could. Side note, the removal of Isaacman was probably chewing at him too. While I have heard they are not best friends. They have worked together and Isaacman would have been the best NASA guy. And Trumps comment of why he was let go was BS. And that doesn’t speak well of the administration or Trump.
@cheryllynnCA@PressSec Gas has gone up Jan to Jun of this year, not down. Average price in Jan was $3.85 and as of June $4.42. I would not say that is a gas prices are down.
I voted for Trump because of the people he was placing around him. Not because of him. Elon being number one, because our spending has to stop. Some in the cabinet have still kept some hope alive, others have seemed meh so far. Jared Isaacman being removed from NASA nomination for what is a BS reason IMHO. That angered me. He is way qualified and would have been another big help in moving things forward. I don’t know if things can change without a wrecking ball. Maybe a strong third party is it?
@ribostok @MarioNawfal Had they really? As one, I have been very disappointed in there lackluster track record. And they spend as much as the Dems, or close.
He hasn’t, and if you wanted to point to anything as a possibility. And I would say it’s a stretch. Is he has commented several times on what was happening to Tesla and had that special event with Tesla vehicles at the Whitehouse and talked about what was happening to Elon and his companies. But again, don’t see that as helping per se.
